Innovative Solutions for Damaged, or Broken, Tamper Resistant Sprinkler Head Installation
Do you work in a Jail, Prison, correctional facility, juvenile detention center, or mental health detention institution that was built over 8 years ago?
If so, you probably have the old style obsolete Tyco or comparable tamper resistant sprinkler heads originally installed. These sprinkler heads as you know are tamper resistant but not tamper proof and can be damaged by a resident, or inmate.
When this happens, the water to the sprinkler system must be cut off and a temporary cap must be installed or a new sprinkler head immediately installed.
The problem is: If you have the old style sprinkler heads made by Tyco they are now obsolete and very hard to find. If you do find them they are very expensive to purchase. If you cannot find them you are forced to install the new style sprinkler head regaurdless. The new style sprinkler heads are much smaller in diameter, and in length and do not fit the existing wall condition and water piping placement.

Our conversion kit will allow you to install a new Tyco tamper resistant sprinkler head into your existing wall and piping condition without the very expensive need to alter the placement of your existing water supply located in the pipe chase behind the wall. And without the need to purchase an expensive and obsolete old style sprinkler head. The old style heads are in the neighborhood of $380+ and will not be available sometime in 2025
You also do not have to purchase another $40+ escutcheon plate to fit your new sprinkler head. You can reuse the existing escutcheon cone/plate if its not damaged.

Our Conversion kits are available in wall application only at this time. We are working on making separate kits that will include only what is needed for either the wall mount or pendant mount in order to make the kits as cost effective as possible. At this time only the wall mount conversion kit is available but can be slightly altered by the installer using a different length 1/2" NPT extension along with a pendant style sprinkler head.
Please specify what color or finish you desire whether chrome or white when ordering your conversion kit.
NOTE: Our conversion kits DO NOT INCLUDE A SPRINKLER HEAD! You must purchase the sprinkler head separately.
